Another plate adjustment can also be made to the inside
gap size between the top and bottom of the OB mount plates.
You can simply squeeze the top and the bottom of the mount
plate together to adjust for the thickness of your skateboard
deck. If it is too tight on your skateboard deck, just
spread the top and bottom apart a little. Don’t worry
about paint that may scuff off from the inside of the OB.
It can be dusted off with an old tooth brush or rag.
